Therapeutic effects

Organ involved: respiratory system

Effects : Antibacterial, antifungal, antitussive, anti-inflammatory, mucolytic, bronchospasymolytic, expectorant, spasmolytic.

Active ingredients: Thyme essential oil (thymol),  Flavonoids, tannins, bitter principles, saponins.

Indications :

For internal use: Coughs, sore throats, bronchitis, colds, sinusitis, asthma.

-> in herbal tea form

For external use: 

Gargle: sore throat, mouth ulcers

Inhalation: colds, sinusitis

Side effects : Allergy to active substances
